THE CLUB
Melbourne Surge Water Polo Club enters teams locally in Victoria's state competitions in summer and winter seasons. We also hold interstate matches against our sister club the Sydney Stingers and even play on the world stage at the Gay Games.
We have lots of people who are learning to play polo for the first time and building their fitness and more competitive players who have been playing for a long time. A good mix of this group recently took out the gold medal in the top level competition at the International Gay Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) competition in Hawaii 2011 and the World Out Games 2013 in Antwerp.
We train every Sunday from 3.00 to 4.30pm at South Yarra Sports Centre, absolute beginners to Olympic superstars are welcomed. Send us a message on Facebook or contact us before you turn up.
